Open Labs Initiative

December 21, 2017

As announced at the Social Simulation Conference in Dublin, the Management Committee is keen to facilitate exchanges between research teams working in social simulation. Many of us already respond to requests from individuals looking to visit groups – often they are in situations where in their own department there are few if any people to discuss agent-based modelling with. The idea of the Open Labs Initiative is to provide a resource for people looking for such opportunities by listing the groups willing to offer them. We’ve added this to the ESSA website at http://www.essa.eu.org/open-labs-initiative/. If you are willing to host a visit, please contact Emile Chappin at E.J.L.Chappin@tudelft.nl. Once we’ve got a few potential hosts, we’ll send an announcement to SIMSOC.
