François Bousquet is a research scientist at Cirad (French International Center for Research in Agriculture and Development) Montpellier, France. For the last 15 years he has been working on socio-ecological systems modelling. He focused first on the development of the multi-agent systems methodology (http://cormas.cirad.fr) , and then became interested in participatory modelling, developing the companion modelling approach (http://www.commod.org). He is interested now in the ways SS can be used to help mediation among stakeholders.
