Samer holds a degree in Computer Science and a MSc in Artificial Intelligence, both from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM, Spain). He is also a student of Political Science at UNED, Spain. With this multidisciplinary perspective he is working on social simulation for his PhD, under the supervision of Juan Pavon (UCM). Nowadays he is spending a year in the University of Surrey (UK), working in the CRESS (Centre for Research in Social Simulation) of Nigel Gilbert.
